Can you control the fans (and maybe RGB backlighting) without predator sense?

I've purchased a Predator Triton 500 recently (PT515-51), and alas, it suffers from the well-known issue of predator sense installer not working due to wrong product identifier in BIOS. As one of the suggested fixes, I tried uninstalling Predator sense. As the new one cannot be installed, I no longer have predator sense on my machine.

Since I do not wish to ship the machine to service just to have product identifier changed in BIOS (and frankly, I think it's completely ridiculous that Acer would not ship an installer that can accept the old identifiers), I'm looking for alternative ways to get the features like CPU fan control back. I'm new to gaming laptops in general, so if anyone would point me in the right direction, I would appreciate that!

Sorry mate thermal fan control is disabled in BIOS and the option is hidden from you. No other Win software (even Linux can`t access the fan controller just because it is disabled) is able to read and/or control the RPMs of the fans because of this. The only way is to mod/unlock your BIOS which can be dangerous.

It is possible to correct the installation of the predator sense. But I need you to send a screenshot with the model name that appears here...

I've learned about it later. I found within the installation package a folder named plugs/Predator PT515-51. I renamed the folder to match the model number found in Acer Care Center and the installer completed without issues.
