Acer Aspire E14 E5-476G-38QZ Screen Upgrade (From 768p to 1080p)

I currently have the stock 768p TN screen (N140BGA-EB3), and I would like to upgrade to higher resolution. *I successfully overclocked it @100Hz stable*
I found a local retailer for a 1080p screen. My only concern is after reading and researching about eDP lanes, 2 lanes is required for a 1080p screen. Do I have to change my eDP cable too or not? I'm not sure about my eDP cable having more than 1 lane.
I have read about a guy being able to upgrade his screen but with different Aspire model:

brummyfan2 has been very helpful to others who ask the same question.
So, tl;dr:
I am upgrading from 768p to 1080p, do I need to change my eDP cable as well?
Thanks in advance.

I replaced my screen to an FHD panel and was successful. The eDP cable also has a tag which says it is FHD eDP cable. The motherboard has a 40pin eDP connector and the cable is 30pin eDP cable. As long as the cable and the panel is compatible it should work (both 30pin). Turn off your laptop first before replacing the panel.
