1234567890qwertyuiop[]\adfjkl; These are the keys that work. All others including alt, ctrl, shift, windows, bckspace, enter do not work. I have replaced batteries, unplugged and replugged device uninstalled a foreign language keyboard app, even though I have used it a long time and it was functioning fine. This has gone on for two days. Cut off computer Sunday night, Monday morning could not login because only the 5 key worked. Took me a while to get on-screen keyboard to function but nothing functioned once I got in. The cursor moved by itself, the start menu was inaccessible, Online it would immediately go to the bottom of the page and could not be moved. The male voice which I had turned off in settings, began talking. To keep myself from throwing the blasted computer out the window, l shut down and started again today. that's when I unplugged, etc. Yesterday, I thought it might be due to some update but could see no indication of one. Because the numbers on the kb worked today I was able to login but then I realized certain letters and the shift key. Not sure of the part number of this kb. model #0291-13-8286. I need help. Thank you.

Double check to make sure the batteries aren't going out on you.

Thank you for your reply but the first thing I did was replace the batteries.

OK, next step is to check carefully for a stuck key. If one is stuck down it will flood the connection.

billsey. no key appears to be stuck down. They all appear to be level.

So at this point I'd go ahead and use a different keyboard. You can use pretty much any wired or wireless, you'll just have another dongle with a wireless.
