Just got a Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop and am wondering if it was a good decision.

I had the choice between two at best buy, and this just happened to be $200 cheaper. I've read some great reviews, praising the Nitro 5 to no end, but there appears to also be an equal amount of hate. I haven't gotten the blue screen thing, that some have complained about, but am a bit worried about it. The fans also appear to spur up a bit when playing some more intensive games (Well, I only tested it with Frostpunk so far, and that feels like a more mid-tier-ish game), which is to be expected, but I just want to ensure that this is normal.

Overall, I'm pleased with the product so far, but am concerned about some of these bad reviews I've seen. Granted the battery runs dry when playing any game, meaning it needs to almost always be plugged in. I can deal with that, too, though. Mostly looking for confirmation that this wasn't a **** buy.
