Black Screen After RAM Upgrade

Hi. I got black screen after installing additional 4gb ddr4 2666 ram. But when remove the new ram the laptop works fine. I tried swtiching the ram but still doesn't work. I also tried placing only the new ram and the laptop still got black screen. Can anyone help me?
My laptop model is : A315-42G-R03V
Stock ram: Hynix 4gb ddr4 2666
New ram: crucial 4gb ddr 2666

    Hi,
    Leave only the original memory module and start the laptop, go to Task Manager and move to Performance tab, click Memory in the left pane and post the snip like in my snip.

    The speed was 2667 before, same as yours. But i think it changed because i removed the stock ram and put it back again.

    Hi,
    They both modules are compatible but they should clock down to 2400MHz speed as your CPU supports up to 2400MHz, have you tried clear any dust from the slots? another member had similar problem but when he dusted the slots, the modules worked perfectly, there's another possibility that the new module could be faulty(DOA), most probably I think it could be DOA as you have mentioned that it's not working in both slots.

    I tried to dust it, still not working. I'll try to return the ram amd buy a new one

    Cant it be fixed by clearing CMOS?
