hi can someone help me with my laptop(aspire 3 A315-53G-36WP) it's not charging but it's alrdy plugged in.. please i need help

    Ok, so there are several things that can give those symptoms. The charger might be bad, it's a 65W 19V charger and if it's only able to put out a small percentage of that you'll get that message. Do you have any way to test the charger? It could be the battery, the batteries on computers now days have some smarts built in and sometimes the smarts get confused. A battery reset can help with that, but it involves disconnecting the battery from inside the machine, so not for the faint of heart. It's less likely but a motherboard failure could cause the symptom, though usually when they fail it's going to do something more catastrophic. With some systems the power socket is on a daughter board that runs a cable to the motherboard. I doubt very much that's the problem because when you have a failure there it's almost always an off/on thing.
