Hello all so after some back and forth with Acer support trying to find out whaty current laptop can be upgraded to , I have received these ( see pics ) now I'm no computer tech at all can someone please explain to me what they mean? My question to them was what can my 2.5" HDD bay take and the spare M.2 slot. If anyone can clarify from these please help 🙏 they mean nothing to me.

Your model is an515-54, correct? If this is the model, see that there are two m2 2280 slots and a 3 sata port to add a 25 "hdd or ssd:

On one of the m2 2280 ports, you can add a ssd sata 3 or nvme. The other m2 door 2280 accepts only nvme.

You can also add up to 32gb of ram ddr4, 2400mhx or 2666mhz, sodimm, 260 pins.

Hello yes that is the correct model , I see that I have the M.2 slot and the 2.5" but what capacitys can it hold in memory (TB) ? I have seen people adding 1TB M.2 slots but I don't understand as some say you cant have more than 516gb etc etc . Same goes for the 2.5" HDD slot. I've been trying since I brought it to find out and I'm really struggling. I don't want to go and buy something that isn't supported you see 😁 

That's why I asked Acer them self's , and this is what they sent me ...

Acer tested this notebook model with m2 ssds up to 512gb. However, it is very likely that your model will accept ssd m2 of 1tb or more.
