Hi Team,
I've got Aspire A315-51-38FU laptop with S/N: UNGNPSI004XXXXXXXXX. I'm from India. Currently, I've 4GB Memory & 1TB SATA drive. I am planning to upgrade memory & M.2 SSD. I've following questions.
Memory:
1. How many memory slots do I have on motherboard?
2. Is 4GB memory soldered to motherboard or is it removable?
3. What is maximum memory that I can upgrade to? Please share config as well. e.g. if I can't remove 4GB memory from first slot then can I put a 16GB memory in second slot or I need to put 4GB again to make it symmetrical? Or can I remove 4GB & put 2 x 8GB or 2 x 16GB Memory?
4. What config memory should I buy. I understand that I need to buy a DDR4 memory, but with DDR4-2400 or 2666 or beyond?

M.2 SSD:
1. Is M.2 SSD supported on my system?
2. What's the maximum capacity is it supported?
3. Whether M.2 NVMe SSD is supported or M.2 SATA SSD is supported?
4. How can make M.2 as primary booting drive and move my windows partition on the SSD?

General Questions:
1. Due to lockdown, it is not possible to visit Acer Service center for upgrade, neither the service center is functional. If I upgrade my system using compatible components as suggested here, will the warranty get void?

    Memory
    1 One DDR4 memory slot
    2 4 GB solder memory
3 Max memory is either 12 GB  or 20GB by adding a single 8GB or 16GB DDR4 module. Go to crucial dot com and select 'scan computer' to detect if your mainboard can support 12GB or 20GB max memory.

    SSD
    1 One m.2 card socket
2 The m.2 socket should support at least 256G and probably up to about 1TB but not guaranteed
3 Only SATA3 speeds are supported, not NVME
4 The m.2 is usually first cloned or migrated from the HDD using freeware such as minitool partition wizard. Then the HDD temporarily disconnected to see if it will boot without changing any BIOS menu settings.  You can also watch this ACER youtube video on how to add an m.2 SSD for a similar model https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCmAOwRYNwY
