For a little background info, this is my moms monitor. She has been having a problem with it flickering and saying no input detected. She of course calls me to come fix it. I thought it was the wire and i changed the wire and it did not work. Then i updated the driver and it worked. Then a week later it happened again and i kept doing the same thing until 2 weeks ago. The driver update did not work. Then i download the acer driver for the monitor and then it worked for two days. Then it started to flicker and say no input. Now i thought it was the computer at this point so i brought my MSI monitor over to the computer and plugged it in and it worked perfectly fine. So now i know its the monitor. The monitor started to work again. Yesterday, however the monitor completely went black and said no cables connected when there was. There was an hdmi connected. So i took the monitor and plugged it into my computer to see if i could get a picture. It turns on says the big ACER in green letters and then does the energy saver logo and then trys to "find" a connection and it doesn't. I don't know what to try next.

I'm guessing it's old enough to be out of warranty? IIRC that model came out around Christmas 2018, so it may or may not be a year yet. If in warranty it's time to contact Acer support and get it fixed, there is obviously something going wrong internally.
