Bios update is very easy and one take a 1-2mins.
Download laptop bios zip→extract and run program.
Before doing you need to follow some steps→
1)plugin your laptop
2)before running bios program close all background apps
3)when bios update is in progress do not remove or insert any external device like mouse, keyboard etc.

First, please remember unless you NEED the update, don't update.
If you can't get into an OS (or use something other than windows/dos), here are some steps to follow.
1; download bios update, closest to original is https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_1.02_A_A.zip?acerid=636960793420791011&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=NITRO&Step3=NITRO AN515-54&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6, newest is https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_1.33_A_A.zip?acerid=637502733973419281&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=NITRO&Step3=NITRO AN515-54&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6, then extract the EH50F1xx file from it
2; extract the exe and bin files from the EH50Fxx file. To do this, there are many programs. If you are on windows, 7zip may work. Extract the exe and bin files to the root of a FAT32 formatted USB drive (sudo mkfs.fat -F32 /dev/sd[disk] for linux, replace [disk] with something like b, make sure to choose the correct disk)
3; plug the AN515-54 laptop into it's power supply (no, its not called a charger, right now I am trying to not rant about why its not a charger) and make sure the circuit it is plugged into is reliable, then plug the USB drive into the AN515-54 laptop.
4; hold the Fn+Esc keys, then press power. The fans should spin up to max RPM and after some time the laptop should boot.
(if you are running a dos like freedos you can probably get away with running the exe)
