So my Acer Predator 15 G9 593 laptop has 2 slot for M.2 SSDs. The bottom one or the closest to the motherboard is a Samsung NVMe 970 EVO. The one on top is a 860 EVO M.2 SATA drive both are 500GB. The problem is the the 970 gets pretty hot 54 C, even though I have a laptop cooler running underneath the laptop. I only have 2 fixes for this; either replace both with a 1TB NVMe, or drill holes in the back plate to allow more air flow. The second choice I am tempted because without the plate both will run at a normal operating temp 41 C
