Is it normal that ACER ACTIVE STYLUS pen ACS-032 (NC.23811.040) is quite imprecise?

i ordered it for my travelmate b118. if i hover over the screen, is see the little "crosshairs", but if i look closely and move the pen around just a little, the crosshairs wont move, the pen kind of drags it behind it.
this is totally different than with my samsung tab s6 lite where the crosshairs mirrors every slight motion of the pen (which doesnt even have a battery).

is samsung just this much better than acer? or is this pen too cheap? or is it a bad fit for the b118? is it maybe a problem of windows 10? or, what i hope most, is this just a setting, can i maybe fix it somewhere?

  • Have you calibrated the pen on windows 10?

i have calibrated the screen for pen input if thats what you mean. but the problem is not an offset but a drag, so i dont think this could have anything to do with it.
i'd like some kind of responsiveness setting like for mice.

doesn anyone else out there have an acer pen and can describe if it behaves the same?
