I got the Acer PM161Q to use on a raspberry pi.  I used an adapter from HMDI (pi) to C (PM161Q) but it doesn't work.  Any cable to use HDMI or DP as the source that will work with this display?

Yeah, those adapters all assume the USB-C is the computer and the HDMI is the monitor. There was a revamp of the Raspberry Pi 4 design after initial release that was supposed to fix the issues with the bad USB-C port, but I don't know if the fix went far enough to support display over it. Earlier Pis don't do USB-C.

Thanks billsey.  The USB-C port on the pi 4 is for power.  The 4 uses micro HDMI outputs (2).
