Acer CXI3-138GKM Chromebox; Hardware and software issues persisting through Reset and Recovery.

I believe that the Firmware or possibly even the Discriptor Chip region of my system has been compromised. I am having the same issues persist through Powerwash, Media Recovery, and Hard system reset. From the information I found in the System Logs and how the machine has performed over the last week, I almost believe it has been compromised by a rootkit.

Unlikely, though I suppose anything is possible. What are your symptoms? Hardware and software issues could be most anything, though both together tend to lean toward hardware.
