Here is my setup:
1) Acer Aspire A515-51G
2) Single Hard Drive: SSD 256Gb
3) Windows 10 Installed
What I would like to achieve:
1) Install an M.2 SSD
2) Install Ubuntu on the new M.2 SSD
Blocker:
To install Linux (specifically Ubuntu 20.04) on my new drive I need the
SATA Mode to be set on AHCI but m
y SATA Mode is set on RAID. I can see this in the BIOS Menu Information Tab.
Question:
I have tried using CTRL + s in the BIOS Menu to activate the SATA Mode option in the BIOS to switch to AHCI but the option just does not come up. What should I do? Should I downgrade/upgrade my BIOS Drivers? Please see
BIOS driver version below
Thank you all very much for the patience of reading through this and your help.
