Can I upgrade my processor?

I have an Acer Aspire TC-885 EB17 with an intel core i5 9400 6 core cpu, am I able to upgrade to an i7 9700? its the same socket also (LGA 1151)

    Hi,
    I think you can upgrade to i7-9700, I have seen at least two users have i7-9700 in this model.

    Is the chipset for this model the B360? What is the version of the bios?

    My BIOS is version R01-B4 havent found the chipset yet though

    Here is a list of the Coffee Lake R CPUs. You can upgrade to any that use the same amount of power as your existing CPU, and potentially to one that uses more power with a cooling upgrade.
