I’ve had this laptop for about 5 years now and just recently I started having an issue where the laptop wouldn’t boot up properly. Whenever I turn the laptop on, I see the Acer logo and after a few seconds, screen goes black, then the laptop turns off, turns back on by itself, and the cycle repeats itself until I force it to shutdown. Last thing I remember doing to the laptop before this issue started was doing a reset.
I’ve looked up ways I could fix this issue, one of them was running a troubleshoot by pressing ALT F10 a few times when the screen blacked out and when the laptop tienes back on, I’d get a menu that gives me 3 options (continue to Windows 10, troubleshoot, and turn off pc) like I said, I was told to choose the second option. From there, I would select the “reset this pc” option then select “remove everything”, there was another option that said “keep my files”. After a while, 2 options appeared, one of them saying “just remove my files” and the other said “fully clean the drive”, I chose the just remove my files option. My laptop would then shut down, boot back up, and there would be text under the Acer logo saying “resetting this pc” with the % on the side. When the laptop got to around 48%, I would get a message saying that resetting failed. So that didn’t work.
Sorry for all this reading, but I just hope that all this can help someone help me. Let me know what I could do to fix this!
