Good afternoon, I have an Acer Swift 5 SF515-51T, along with the Acer docking station NP.DCK11.01H in which I have connected among other things a USB hard drive, the problem is that every time I reboot the laptop or turn it off, I get the message "Unknown USB device (Port Reset Failed)" which makes the hard drive take some time to be recognized.
I've searched all over Google but I can't find a solution
How can I fix it?
Thank you very much.

  • Does the same problem occur when you leave the hard drive connected? Is the sf515-51t compatible with the ADK620?

Does your docking station have it's own power supply? Those types of errors typically show if the drive is either not spinning up or spinning up too slowly, a sign it might not be getting enough power.

hello, thanks for your help but I still can't solve the problem, my docking station has its own power supply, but still this problem only happens with usb hard drives or usb hubs
and another problem I have is that the hard disks go very slow if I connect them to the docking station, however if I connect the docking station to a usb type A port (with adapter) everything works perfectly (except the video that doesn't work and doesn't recharge the laptop because only the usb c port has charge and video)

I honestly don't know what else to try and I don't know why this happens, any idea?
    Thank you very much.
