Predator Triton 500 and Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS)

Hello,
I bought a Predator Triton 500 in November 2019 and installed Fedora on it. It is working great but I don't get the firmware updates through fwupd/LVFS.
Yet, I saw Acer is participating into the Linux Vendor Firmware Service for some of its hardware, so I was wondering if there were any plans to extend this effort to the Predator Triton line and when would that be.
Regards,
Ben

    Second that.

Especially, as the latest firmware updates are already "EFI Firmware capsules", this shouldn't be much work. (You can run the installer under Wine, which creates some temporary directories containing a proprietary updater, *and* the actual FW as an EFI payload. Now, wondering what happens when you copy that to the ESP and run it ...).

I'd rather not try bricking my motherboard manually.
