Aspire S7-391 - BIOS Crisis Recovery Disk

I have this Aspire S7-391 with the black screen issue - does not turn on anymore, but the LEDs do. I tried the usual - connecting external display, resetting the battery, draining it, resetting the graphic card ... no effect.
I would like to re-flash the BIOS. I found the procedure in the S7 manual about how to create the crisis recovery disk, with the xxxxx64.fd file. But when I look for the BIOS, for this type of computer, all it gives is a .exe file (isST218.exe).
So ... how can I get this .fd file?
Thanks

@Jyramn are you able to boot in safe mode?
Turn on your laptop then keep pressing F8 key then click on troubleshoot→advanced options→startup settings→restart
After restart boot in safe mode by following instructions

So I found in another post that the .fd file is included in the .exe, that it is possible to extract it. But I tried with a few archive management apps, none was able to.

My other computer is Linux (Lubuntu). Does anyone know what to use to extract the BIOS fd file from the exe in that environment? If not, in Windows?

    Thanks.
