When my Orion 3000 is booting Windows 10 or when I do some normal tasks (such as opening a PDF file), I can hear a strange circuit noise. Either when I use headphones or speakers, the outcomes are the same. Do you also hear this strange noise? How can I solve this issue?

(I connect my earphones or speakers to the headphone port on the front panel.)

PO3-600: Intel i7-9700 + Nvidia RTX 2060 + 16GB RAM

Thanks!

Usually when we hear a noise like that it can be traced back to the house wiring, you are seeing the effects of a ground loop most likely. Can you try plugging into a different socket, such as a UPS or surge arrestor instead of the wall plug, or a wall plug instead of a surge arrestor or UPS? How about putting the speaker power on a different outlet than the computer is sitting on?

I firstly also doubted wiring/ground issues in my house. So I tried to plug my Orion 3000 into different wall slots in my house, to take away mobile phones, and to turn off Wi-Fi/bluetooth modes. However, the pulse/surge noise still could be heard from earphones or speakers every time when I opened a file or web page. The higher the sound volume set in Windows 10, the louder the pulse/surge noise. I also reset/reinstalled Windows 10, but the outcome is the same. Finally, I plug my earphones or speakers to the rear line out port (the green port), and then the disturbing pulse/surge noise disappears!

Could you also switch your earphones/speakers between the front earphone and the rear green ports? Maybe you can also hear the difference. Maybe this is a shielding issue in the chassis? If so, which parts may interfere with the front earphone port?
