Hi
My daughters Acer One Cloudbook was becoming more and more unresponsive and running out of space. I created a recover drive and did a factory reset removing all files. It did not recover after the restart. it would not recognise the recovery media. I created a bootable USB using the MS Media Creator tool and also with Rufus. The PC is setup to access the USB in the boot sequence. Initially it was complaining there was a missing media driver, now it complains about winload.efi. Any advice gratefully received as this is used for homework. Thanks in advance.

I should also say it was running Windows 10

I think it likely your best bet is to start from scratch to see where exactly it's failing. When you created the USB install image did you create the Cloudbook version of Windows 10 on it, or did it use the version of Windows on the machine used to create it? It should install, but fail activation if you have the wrong version, but it might also have problems fitting into the small drive that a Cloudbook typically has. Which model do you have? When doing the install did you choose an existing partition or the keep your files option?
