Dear Community,

I bough an Acer Predator Helios 300 PH317-53 a half year ago. I installed Windows 10 on it with the latest drivers and the latest Windows updates. In some cases - especially, when I play VGA-intensive games or other applications -, the battery charger instantly disconnects and, on the left side of the laptop, the charger LED becomes orange. It takes 2-3 minutes to charge it to 100 %. In this cases, I realized that power of the laptop is reduced and there are small fps drops and lag spikes for seconds.

Well, I tried to update the drivers with special driver updating tools like Driver Booster and experienced that Acer publicates not the up-to-date drivers. I hoped that these update help but, unfortunately, not, the problem was still the same. I updated BIOS, too, but not helped.

After that, a brand service in my country ordered new mainboard and AC adapter. After these parts were replaced, apparently, the problem disappeared, but after 2-3 days I realized it again.

As I saw here in Acer Community, tried to uninstall the Microsoft Surface ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver in the device manager, disabled fast boot in Windows 10 and disabled some options in power management, but it didn't fix the problem, too.

I have Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design graphic card in this laptop, I tried to disable G-Sync compatibility mode, unfortunately, it not helped.

I tried to use some other power plugs but not fixed the issue, too.

The next problem is with the Wi-Fi adapter / driver: in some cases, I cannot use wireless network because the Wi-Fi adapter disconnects instantly from the hosted network but I don't know what it depends on. At home, I can use wireless network but with other routers cannot without disconnectings. I reinstalled latest wireless drivers, nothing happened, the Wi-Fi card was replaced, still the same problem appears. This card is a Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650x. I'm using version 21.80.2.1. (driver release date: 2020. 02. 25.).

I hope somebody can help.
