As a gaming laptop the least I would expect is for google chrome, GOOGLE CHROME, to load up quickly but nope. I was led to depression by how slow everything loads, I spent 1000 CAD on a gaming laptop just for it to be worse than a Macbook. everything is extremely slow no matter what i click on, Fortnite stutters every second and can barely keep 60 fps and better yet, this laptop is BRAND NEW. How can you not be able to game on a gaming laptop? I hope I do not sound so harsh but i feel scammed and i would be extremely grateful for a refund. I've only had it for 4 days just to test out, everything is perfect condition and i have the box and everything. How would I be able to a) either make this computer hit some type of normal gaming laptop speed or b) get a full refund & return. Thank you. (Sorry if i sound like a Karen, I'm just so disappointed)

Thanks for your answer. How would I edit the title to remove it? I assumed that you guys would need my specifics but if it’s private then if you could tell me how I could edit the title I’d appreciate it.

1)Open nitrosense app then set high performance plan in both AC and Battery.
2)always play your games while plugin, of you play with battery then you get only 50%of performance.

    After following above steps
Open nvidia control panel then add fortnite .exe or any game .exe file in 3D settings and set high performance nvidia processor
After doing this also nvidia control panel and launch your game

This did boost the fps a little bit however in game there are still constant stutters and hitching and only 90 FPS. Is there anything else which would make this smoother? or should i just return and buy a new one?
    Thanks.

Play game then after 2-3min minimize game open task manager→click on performance tab→then post screenshot.
    Also ↓
Right click on battery icon in taskbar→power option→click on change plan settings (The right side of the high performance powerplan)→change advanced settings→expand processor power management
Now, expand minimum processor state and set 100% on plugged in
Again, expand maximum processor state and set 100% on plugged in

    Now apply→ok→play your game

The expand minimum/maximum processor were both already 100.

    Well now everything is ok.
However fortnite is online game and cause low fps because of there server and your network speed.
Also fortnite is not well-optimized for our gpu and cpu.

I see... would I be able to return and get a refund then? Honestly I only bought a gaming  laptop mostly to play fortnite so I would need to buy one with the gpu optimized
