Hello guys! I've bought 2 monitors and I want to connect them in extended mode. But my laptop Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572 (i7-7700HQ, GTX 1050Ti, 8GB RAM) has just one HDMI port. I've read that the USB 3.0 can also support video, so I want to buy an adaptor USB 3.0 to HDMI. Would be that possible and would it work?

Have this same device, sadly the answer is "no".
The usb 3.0 port doesn't support video, no matter which adapter you use. It seems some limitation of many laptops (not acer only) which uses dual graphics intel + nvidia. The nvidia controls hdmi, and intel controls the built-in display only.
Nothing peaks at the same time...

Oh no. So I can't connect both of monitors at the same time? No matter what? :(

I just finished looking for USB 3.0 to HDMI adapters and there are plenty.  Most allow you to continue using the PCs built in monitor port and also extend your display to the additional monitor connected via the USB adapter.  There are also USB 3.0 and Type C dual HDMI adapters with ads showing laptops and two extra monitors for a total of three monitors used as an extended desktops, each operating independently. These are not splitter cables which should just be used for multiple displays with the same image.  Anyway, the USB 3.0 (single or dual) HDMI adapters are actually more expensive and fewer offerings than the newer USB Type-C to HDMI adapters.  If you don't need HDMI, then you can search for others but basically you can use the USB ports to hook up monitors.
Note that the HDMI has multiple resolutions, the standard 1080 vertical resolution is not enough so I did find that HDMI 4K or UHD adapters provided much higher resolution.  Startech has single and dual adapters.  Another positive is that one user showed using multiple USB adapters so that he had 8 monitors operating independently!  Good luck.

Alright, thank you very much Scott. But does my laptop USB 3.0 support video? Because Strider said it does not.

And for USB C I have bought already an adapter USB C to HDMI and it does NOT work.
