Hi

I have an Acer Swift5 and it switches on (keyboard lights on etc.) but the screen is still black.
- Disconnected battery
- Held down power button 30sec etc.
- Tried F2
- Tried FN + brightness

I have read many posts and tried numerous things but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Shine a flashlight in at an angle and see if anything shows faintly on the display. If so it might be the backlight is having problems. Does the normal charge light show amber or blue?

Amber then blue for the charge light shows that the charge circuit is working. If you don't get the Acer splash screen it's either not running at all (fan and keyboard light just need power, no need for the smarts to be up) or the display is not working. The display could be a disconnected wire between the display and motherboard. If so an external monitor connected should give you something. If there's nothing with an external monitor than the MB is likely not working, and that means a trip for repairs. :(
Have you got another system you could use while this one is down?
