Acer N15P2 Boot Problems

Hello,

I have a 3 year old Acer N15P2 tablet (Windows 10 32bit) with removable keyboard. It recently started to have problems booting. Firstly the boot was very slow until it displayed an error: "File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD" Error code: 0xc000000f" saying that I must insert installation media to correct it. So I grabbed USB drive and installed Windows 10 32bit using firstly the Media Creation Tool and also Rufus. Both installation had the same problem. Tablet successfully booted from USB (after I turned off Secure Boot in UEFI) but after about an half a hour loading just freezed at black screen. Out of curiosity I tried to install CentOS on the USB drive and after selecting the "Install Centos 7" option it did the exact same thing - just freezed at black screen (also tried to install in basic graphics mode, same thing). I then once again tried the USB drive with Windows 10 and the same thing happened - loading and then stuck at black screen.

Is there any way to resolve this or any other approach of booting like legacy (there's no such option in UEFI/BIOS)?

Thanks

Unfortunately it sounds very much like there is an error in the drive. I'm not positive, but I believe your model is one of the S1002 systems, and they use an eMMC drive, which is soldered to the MB, so no replacing it. :(
