Acer KG271 Cbmidpx 27" constantly switching inputs in 4:3 Stretched 1600x 1200 in CSGO

Hello, my issue is basically as the title says. I normally play CSGO on 4:3 stretched, however my monitor, Acer KG271 Cbmidpx 27" constantly switching inputs in 4:3 Stretched 1600x 1200 in CSGO. I know the monitor can support a stretched resolution, as I set the resolution to be 1600 x 1050 in the nvidia settings however it still would not work ingame. I have fiddled with all the scaling options, and I have tried creating a custom resolution but it still does not work. 
Specs of the laptop i am currently running, i7 6700hq, gtx 1060 6(?) GB. MSI GS43VR 14" laptop.

update: i have found that it does work in stretched in 800x 600 and 1280x 1024
