Acer Aspire 7 making strange noises when plugged in.

Hello,

As mentioned above my Acer Aspire 7 does make odd, high pitched noises when it is plugged in. If it is not or under heavier load, the noises disappear immediately.

    That's call coil whine from small inductors on the mainboard. This is common and normal behavior and usually much more noticeable in some machines under heavy CPU/GPU loads in high performance power plan and plugged in. You can reduce it a bit in balanced or power saver mode but not much. The only effective fix is earplugs if it bothers you.  :)    Jack E/NJ
