Questions about CPU temperature

I have Nitro AN515-52 with a Intel Core i7- 8750H CPU @2.20 GHz 8GB Ram

Not a heavy gamer and when i do play i understand the limits of the machine so i hardly ever max out the settings.

That being said, i noticed the computer getting unusually hot even when i play for 15-20 minutes which i found unusual.

So i installed Nitrosense , made sure i toggled Coolboost and played for 30 minutes.

And after i checked Nitrosense graphic and:

My GPU, which i thought might be the problem never registered any temperature above 59º celsius which seems quite reasonable however the CPU showed multiple spikes that reached 98ºcelsius throughout the entire session.

Now the fans are working as i listen to them speeding up from time to time and to test i placed them on maximum on Nitrosense (and then i can definitly ear them spining) and tested again for 5 minutes. Nitrosense  registered several spikes to 98ºc.
I double checked the results with another app HWINFO and pretty much confirmed the same results.

Wondering whats would be the best solution here, do i need to have the device checked/repaired or is normal to spike like that? the computer never closed down due to temperature but i´m concerned that these spikes will end up burning something.

Any pointers that someone can give would be appreciated

PS: game i was testing was set to medium quality setting and their recommended requirements are Recommended: Quad Core i5 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, graphic card 512 MB (GeForce 9600 GT or better), 20 GB HDD, Windows Vista/7/8  (XCOM enemy within)
