Hello,
When I connected my laptop ("TravelMate X349-M") to my new Docking station ("Acer Type-C Docking II ADK 810"), the laptop does not charge. I tried both via USB Type-C and USB 3.0. The internet connection does work though - so I assume that the Docking station is functional. How could I solve that?
Many thanks in advance!

I didn't think the TravelMate X349-M supported charging the laptop over the USB-C port. I think that's why your TravelMate isn't listed as fully compatible with the docking station. To charge using the docking station you need to be able to charge from the USB-C.

Thank you very much for your answer!

The situation is very interesting. The new docking station I mentioned is a replacement I received from Acer, after I sent an old one to repair. Only after your answer I realized that the old one was a different model! It was 'Acer USB Type-C Dock' (model number 'NP.DCK11.01D'), but the one I received as replacement is 'Acer USB Type-C Dock II' (model number 'NP.DCK1101N').
Importantly, the old model was charging my TravelMate X349-M very well from USB-C!

Could you maybe give me in a reference that mentions compatibility issue of the new docking station with TravelMate X349-M? I might need it when I would ask Acer to replace the new docking station with the old model that worked.

    Many thanks in advance!
