My Acer Spin 1 touchscreen won't calibrate correctly

When I press on the screen it clicks somewhere else on the screen

    Go into the Windows settings for the touchscreen and delete the calibration using the Reset button.

    I've done that it doesnt help

    Does it act like the touch area is squeezed to half of the screen?

    OK, that sounds like the digitizer cable is either pinched or has something shorted together. It might be the digitizer itself though. Are you in warranty still?

    @billsey it was working fine until a bunch of drivers updated

    Still sounds like hardware, but Acer will get it fixed for you. Contact them and start a trouble ticket. Remember that they are typically working from home right now, so they will be slower than normal.

    wouln't that cause other problems too though? My computer is working perfectly fine except for the screen isn't calibrating right

    What visual options are available on your model and Win10 version? How about touch feedback? Anything that looks reasonable? Doesn't hurt to experiment. Jack E/NJ

    I ran drier verifier and i got FT TouchScreenDriver.sys
