Screen blinking/flickering issue - Nvidia 1060, 144Hz Acer predator Helios 300

My Helios300 PH315-51 randomly blinks(flickers with black screen) when using GPU applications(sometimes even while using firefox). I sent the laptop to ACER service and they changed the laptop screen and clean installed the OS again. But it didn't change anything. I honestly think its a software/driver issue, but not sure. This is really annoying and kindly requesting help. When I play Assassin's creed Odyssey the screen blinks continuously and when the blink persists for longer the system reboots.

I tried reinstalling the Nvidia drivers(even using DDU)

I tried changing to 60Hz

nothing seems to work.

Finally I was able to reproduce the issue. Whenever I touch/press the palmrest(adjacent to the touch pad) the screen flickers. is there a short in the power supply?
