I installed another 4 GB of ram DDR4-2400 in my Acer aspire A314-41. the system read my total ram as 8 GB.
In CPU Z it says Single in "Channel#" . My question is, Is it possible to make it a dual channel? Thank you

Show us the CPUz caption of "Memory" and "SPD" (Slot# 1 and Slot# 3). The M type RAM which you have I’ve never heard of 'Product of China' is not a dual channel RAM (I've had this problem also buying cheap from eBay and Amazon) that is why its a single channel, buy reputable RAM such as Crucial, Kingston, G. Skill etc which is appropriate for your laptop, then you won't have any problems.

That Ram stick came from my HP laptop. Because i bougth an 8gb kingston Ram so i decided to used it as a 2nd Ram for my Wife's acer laptop which i thing has a soldered 4gb ram in it. As i check its speed in the task manager its only 800mhz

That brand sir is Micron. I have a very little knowledge about dual channel. I though buy simply putting an 2nd same type of Ram(ddr4) will make it a dual channel ram in my laptop.though my system says my Ram is 8gb but the speed in task manager/performance/memory is only 800mhz. Is this normal?.

You have single channel ram, send it back and get a reputable brand DDR4-2400 ram that is dual channel e.g. have a look at this caption of a PC3-14200 dula channel ram, which you should have in DDR4-2400

Also, this the Task Manager of the above PC3-14200 2x 4GB ram which is running at 1867MHz while your is only at 800MHz

Sir, i did some research and i ended up in a topic og "XMP" in my . The ram i used is a 2400mhz i expected it to reduce to atleast 2133mhz. Is my motherboard max speed for my ram is only at 800mhz? Is there a way to increase its speed?
