Purchased with 4G memory. I purchased two 16G memory stick. When replaced.... cannot boot

Hi, This might be buried in forum somewhere, but new and my attempts to search come up null. I got two 16GB PC4-192000 DDR4, 2400MHz 200331. Came from MemoryStock and matched up to the computer model on the site. Not cheap. Stockton California. I can boot up with original 4GB memory. Tried single 16GB. Nada. Two, Nada. Get the circle. Preparing automatic repair. Diagonosing Your PC. I upgraded to lates Bios. Upgraded all drivers. Is this upgrade just not practical? Is 2.4GHz too high. The site was saying these were compatible. Any thoughts or suggestions on this really appreciated. Thanks.

The laptop is E5-575-33BM SNID XXXXX s/n NXGG5AA005XXXXXX Came with 4G. Processor I3-7100U (2.4GHz,3MB L3 Cache)

I called place I get memory from. They are sending me two new ones with return envelope.
I wonder what odds are that they were DOA? Will see. A friend in Montreal was talking about looking at the Master Boot Record. Not sure what that is about.

Well, last try. Put in the 16G and original 4G. When I boot up hit f2 and I can see that the computer sees the 20G. But, same problem.
Will not start. Odd thing is when I take the 16G out and power back up, the screen is Preparing Automatic Repair... Diganosing your PC, then shut down. After that power up again an all okay. Very odd.

Have you tried swapping the modules around? If not give it a try, check the slots one by one, and see whether you can figure out the faulty slot( if any).

First, has your Aspire E5-575-33BM got the Intel Core i3-7100U? if it does then the specs for that cpu are as follows:

· Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) - 32 GB

· Memory Types - DDR4-2133, LPDDR3-1866, DDR3L-1600

· Max Memory Bandwidth - 34.1 GB/s

What is the brand of the new “16GB PC4-19200 DDR4, 2400MHz 200331”? It seems to me that this suggested PC4-19200 DDR4 ram is not compatible with the E5-575-33BM. Also, what are the specs of the OEM 4GB OEM ram? Try booting without the OEM 4Gb ram, then try it first with only the 1x 16GB PC4-192000 DDR4, 2400MHz 200331 ram.

The Aspire E5-575-33BM that you have can take a maximum memory of 32GB (Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory) it has 2x slots and 2 banks that each are removable and can accept 16GB max of ram, the Aspire E5-575-33BM came with standard memory of 4GB removable.

Thanks for this feedback. The CPU is i3-7100U (2.4GHz, 2MB L3 Cache) I called memory company and they are sending two new memory banks, but your comment has me worried. What is wrong with the PC4-19200 DDR4 ram? Why did that company claim okay? Too fast? I did try one 16GB with 4GB and had same issue. Then tried just one 16GB. Nada. They are sending new RAM. Will see. How does one know if the memory is valid to use?

according the more popular memory supplier the faster memory is supposed to be compatible. I tried both sticks, one at a time and they work. If I put both in I can't boot. Keypad lights up, but screen blank. Last bios update was 2018 from what I see on acer site. Maybe no person ever tried to put in 32G?
