Hey guys,

first of all i hope my problem will be "clear" enough because english ain´t my main language!

anyway... i have scrolled threw the forum, found similar problems but none of the solutions worked for me.
now to my problem:
when i plugin my razer tournament headset i have to choose between 5 options (Audioinput, Microphoninput, Headphones, Speakers and Headset).
the first weird thing about this is that no matter what i choose, only with the "Speakers" option the sound is clear. if i choose another option there is an echo effect (idk if this is the right word).

well no problem for me so i will just choose this doesnt really matter to me. Problem now is that my microphone isnt working. but i am not 100% sure about that... if i check the level in the "sound" directory there is nothing nothing. everything is activated, the windows data protection thing is also "enabled" (allow using the microphone and so on...).
next thing what i am not sure about is the "microphone array" thing is this my laptop mic, or my actual headset? (or maybe kinda "both") because it´s the only thing there in my microphone input settings.

the last thing i tried today was to play with the "level" thing deeper in the sound option, it does affect the volume, but the quality of the sound is very very bad. i tried out my iphone headsets, my razer headset and even without headset and it sounds the same to my friends in discord/ teamspeak... because of this i am beginning to think my microphone is really not detected and i have no clue to make my pc noticing it... i was speaking to the austrain/german support, but after 30 minutes of installing and uninstalling the devices in the device manager we gave up. the latest realtek software should also bei installed.

i hope anybody is able to help me...

kind regards

It is sad to admit but the Realtek drivers are to blame. I have similar problems with my Nitro 5 laptop and I am sure that this is a driver fault as when I boot Linux the port recognizes whatever I put in and everything is working as designed.
