Aspire 5 bios problem

A515-41G-15YB is my laptop model and i have a problem with it. The ram that comes with it goes up to 2400Mhz but mine run at 933Mhz , so i tryed to go into the bios to adjust it , but the bios has no usefull settings for my problem. The bios is InsydeH2o rev 5.0 , i have tryed using Fn + Tab to unlock extra settings but it never worked.
On top of that , i already have the Advanced tab unlocked but only has 2 useless things in it both. People online seem to have a big list of settings for most hardware componets , i really want to get that.
Did anyone else have this problem or has a solution for it ? Unlocking the bios settings or increasing the ram speed without it , anything helps.

Bad news buddy, I've checked it and your CPU doesn't support anything above 1866MHz (933MHz x 2 as we mentioned earlier), so it doesn't matter your module is clocked to 2400, it will operate at 1866. Sorry

What app are you using for memory reading? Try it with HWinfo, it's most reliable. Your RAM should go to 1200Mhz as DDR is double data rate, so should be 1200 x 2, yours looks to be 1866MHz. Anyway, try different app and report here. Also you can try removing one module if you got 2 and see what happens.

Ty for the quick response , i am using CPU-Z as well as the task manager and i did a picture of both , also my laptop has one RAM slot only.

Have you checked for BIOS update?

Yes i did , and i upgraded the bios to the latest available version Acer was providing me on the product website, but the bios settings are the same.
