I've been searching for days for a fix for this to the point of literally crying. So I've installed Ubuntu onto a old laptop and then installed bootable Windows 10 onto a USB. It's format was NTFS, I was trying to use fat32 but i can only copy files to it under 4gb. So what's the point of having a UEFI BIOS if it can't even boot NTFS. So I was trying to change it to Legacy but it was greyed out. Any ideas so my suffering can stop? Please! My model is ES1-533-C3M8-CA.

Firstly, I can't understand your problem? Don't format the USB, that is where your problem is. Let the Win-10 installation files from "Create Windows 10 installation media" > Download tool now install and format your USB, you should not have any problems booting into either Legacy or UEFI type systems to install Win-10 if you do it that way . Follow these steps:
    1. Microsoft Software Licence Terms > Accept
    2. Chose > "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC"
    2. At language, architecture and edition, make sure that the > "Use recommended options for this PC" is ticked
    3. Chose which media to use, make sure that its > "USB flash drive" (it nees to be at least 8GB)
Then the Media Creation Tool will foramt your USB and copy the appropriate Legacy or UEFI BIOS type boot files that your system will boot from, its very simple.

But, and if you don't have access to the computer with an UEFI BIOS and the one that you want to install Win-10 onto with the "Media Creation Tool" then you can use either:
    1. Another computer with an UEFI BIOS (with an operable Win-10, 8 or 7 OP) and use the MS MCT
    2. Or use the WinToFlash and their instructions of "How to create a Windows 10, 8 & 7 UEFI boot media using WinToFlash Software", simple.

Note: Fortunately, if your device features a UEFI firmware, you have multiple ways to create a USB bootable media to install Windows 10, Windows 8.1 or Windows 7. You can use the Media Creation Tool, which is an easy-to-use utility made by Microsoft that downloads and copies the installation files onto a removable drive with support UEFI and BIOS. Or you can use WinToFlash, which is a freely available third-party tool that allows you to quickly create a media with support for UEFI firmware.
