    Hello Nomegusta 95
Did you find the solution to this problem?
I have the same issue with my aspire 5.

I have an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-83TN laptop and have the exact same problem.
It seems the computer drops the charge as soon as the dedicated GPU is working above 40-50% of its capacity, such as with demanding emulators (Dolphin, PCSX2) or modern PC action games (I've tried Xonotic for example).
I have the feeling it could be a hardware problem of the Aspire 5 series.

@Phaenix360Just search on google by typing Acer laptops charger  disconnects when playing games and you will find tons of complains regarding it in acer community the complains includes nitro 5 users, aspire users, predator 300 helios users, and even by following all the steps in the comments section of those complains it won't be solved, this clearly confirms acer are utter garbage when it comes to manufacture their laptops never had such issues with other brands laptops i own.I am regreting buyin this Acer company laptop, this will probably be my last acer laptop purchase in my entire life will never buy Acer laptop and waste my money they are unstable, won't recommend acer to anyone of my friends, neighborhood and relatives as well.

Any news on your attempt? I'm having the exact problem since 2018 on my Aspire 5 A515-51G, replaced the motherboard and battery over the period.  Currently, I'm planning to get myself a new adapter too.

I've changed the AC adaptor to a more powerful one and I've never had that problem again. It seems the stock adapter doesn't have enough voltage when the GPU comes to high loads indeed. It does bring me some concern about the skills of Acer in termes
