I have installed two linux OS via dual boot. Both OS has entries in boot priority order but in un-readable format as attached in the image. I've no luck with loading default setup and issue still persists.

Please advise if anyone has already encountered this issue and know the solution. There are no issues in booting into both OS as required.

There should be more items listed on the INFORMATION tab screen. For example, HDD0, the model number, etc? Jack E/NJ

    @JackE

Just a heads up that the OP's laptop came pre-installed with Linpus Linux.  Good luck.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Hi Jack,

After you pointed out, I noticed that the BIOS version is outdated in my system i.e. V1.08. Now I've upgraded this to V2.02. However, that did not help me to resolve the issue. Here is the HDD0 model name.

    (1) Which two?
    (2) What happens when you press F12 at boot time?

    1. Linux Mint and Mx Linux
    2. Seeing my Boot manager screen with no issues. Text in Boot manager looks fine.(Attachment is in next post .)

    Yep, that is correct.
In fact, I use Mint as my daily driver and use the second one for trying other Linux distributions. Both are working with no issues till date.

My only issue is that Boot prority order is not showing text in readable format.

I think the bootloaders are a bit different for the two distros. Perhaps the efi partition got a bit mixed up without apparent harm except for the Boot tab unreadability. Mint uses the Linpus installer and usually but not always shows up as the grubx64.efi in both the Boot tab and the F12 screen. I also use Mint Cinnamon 19.3 on my workhorse machines. I occasionally see some UEFI bootstrap inconsistencies in dual boot mode but with no apparent consequences. Accordingly, if it was my machine with an unreadable boot order that seems inconsequential, I would not fret too much over this minor inconsistency. Jack E/NJ

    Thanks Jack.
Agree that this is not a major issue.
While upgrading my BIOS, I'd to install Windows and got something messed up. Finally I had to reinstall both of Linux OSs along with EFI format.
During this process, at first I installed only Linux Mint and checked in Boot prority order and found that entry of Linux Mint was in unreadable format as it was earlier. Hence I can say that it is not due to inconsistency between two OSs.
Since Google search did not help me much, looking for some expert's advise here out of my curiosity.

When installing Mint, did you have a choice of trusted files in the ubuntu efi folder to select for the BIOS? If yes, do you recall what they were and which one you chose? Jack E/NJ

Sorry Jack, I've chosen only Boot partition during installation. I'm not having deep knowledge on how Bios, Grub or Efi are working and interconnected.
