So this just happened out of the blue, was just listening to a podcast when sound cut out.
i've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Tried the headset in all 3 USB ports
Run windows diagnostics (didn't even notice a problem)
Several restarts, and also removed the jack from the USB adapter and tested in the Headphone port but still no Audio.
At this point I just need confirmation of if i've missed anything and can just say the headsets the issue or not.
Headset in question is a Logitech G430 Gaming headset.

Try plugging something else into a USB port and verify it works, to rule out them failing. Does the headset show up in the list of output devices in Sound Settings? Does it also show up correctly in Device Manager?

USB ports are working, got a mouse and printer plugged in. Headsets showing in the device manager and audio settings.

Can confirm it's a headset issue, I was playing around with the cable and got momentary audio back.

Great! It always feels better when we can point a finger at what actually was going on. :)
