I have a 4 week old Aspire 1 running windows 10. No cursor

I have a 4 week old Aspire 1 running windows 10. the touchpad is not working. I had no visible cursor until I connected a wired mouse via the USB port
how do I fix

    Try pressing the F7 one time which is on the top row of your keyboard and check. If it did not work try pressing the F8 key one time and check.

    Thanks Jack this morning the Fn + F7 key activated the touchpad. I had tried that numerous times as its the first thing most posts and Video responses on youtube recommend. no idea why it should have worked this morning and not the 2.5 hours I spent yesterday trying to resolve it and that included the IT solution of switching off and on. True to say I had the time. Once again thanks brian
