Hi there! I hope that this finds you all healthy and well.

I just bought a notebook Acer Aspire 3 A315-42G-R6FZ and its a very good laptop so far, but the screen sucks... My model has a monitor identified with the hardware ID CMN15E6 which I found to be the Innolux N156BGA-EA3.

So I am looking for a FullHD IPS replacement. I found out an older post with a similar laptop model (a315-42G) but with a different panel, in that post, the user chose the NV156FHM-N61 panel as a replacement, does anyone knows if this panel fits my laptop too? I also found in panelook that this NV156FHM-N6x have newer models ( http://www.panelook.com/modelcompare.php?ids=29824,43039,39146,31900 ), the N67 seems to have excellent specs, can I use one of them?

Also, if possible, how can I find which panel can or cannot be used in this laptop?
Thanks!

    Hi,
I think NV156FHM-N61 and N62 will work but I doubt NV156FHM-N67 will work because it has 8bit for Gray method and another member couldn't get it working in his laptop, I think it's incompatible with the graphics.
    Compatible panels in this laptop:
    B156HTN06.1
    NT156FHM-N61
    Following IPS panels also compatible:
    B156HAN02.1
    NV156FHM-N42
    LP156WF6-SPB1

Thanks! I do have a few more questions.
What makes these models compatible but others don't, is the Signal Interface Model? Some of these models that you listed have the same of the one that I currently have, others don't.
Some of the panels that you listed have HW versions (for instance, the B156HAN02.1 have seven HW versions), any will be compatible?
Is there any 120hz panel compatible?
And, what's the best website for me to buy it?
    Thanks a lot!

No problem, HW denotes the datasheet version, you have to match most of the current specs with the new panel, there are no compatible 120Hz panels for this model, most of the time it's better to stick to panels recommended by Acer but some like to experiment with other panels at their own risk,  you have to browse online to find the dealers near you or contact Acer Support in Brazil to find any partner retailers near you, they will be able to help you.

Thank you for your kind answers.
I've googled a bit here and I find out the LP156WF6-SPK3. Will this panel be compatible?
    Thanks!

    Hi there!
So I managed to grab one of these there LG LP156WF6-SPB1, and... the screen is too big to fit in the A315-42G-R6FZ...It actually has almost the external length of the frame of the screen of the laptop.
I guess that I can blame myself in this one... I misread length, for some stupid reason, and I thought that the length of 359mm was only 0.9mm bigger than the 350mm in my current screen, when it is actually 9mm wider (as stated on the specs on the panelook)
Now comes the costs and problems for returning the wrong panel.

So, which of the others will be my best choice?

My apologies, I should have checked the measurements, you could use the B156HAN02.1 or NV156FHM-N42.

Im on the same page here, after 1 year with this laptop Im lokking for upgrades, and the panel is on the top of my list. How is your journey going? Did you manage to get a better panel working with it?
