Hello, I just recently bought a Acer Aspire 1 notebook recently.( 3 weeks to be exact ) Over time I noticed I had to press and hold the power button longer to turn it on before I'd see the start up Acer screen, but finally yesterday I tried to turn on the laptop and it'll power up but the screen is blank.

I've tried nearly every troubleshoot process on the internet. I know it isn't the power supply or battery thats the problem.

@RedWall did you try to boot in safe mode?
If not then turn on your laptop then keep pressing F8 you will reach in bluescreen then follow the path Troubleshoot→advanced options→startup settings→restart after restart press F5 and check are you able to boot in safe mode

Yes, I've tried this and I'll see nothing on screen. I've even tried plugging the laptop into a different monitor and TV with my HDMI cable and nothing.

    Things Ive tried so far
    - I disconnected the battery ( Its internal ) and held down the power button to see if it was a static build up, nothing.
    - I tested the AC adapter and thats fine as well.
    - I even disconnected the SMOS battery also for 5 minutes to see.

I'm pretty confused and lost at this point seeing as its literally brand new lol

I see a 'Triocon' logo on screen if I hold down the Fn key + Esc key while I press the power button, this is the only thing that allows me to see anything on screen.

Being a new laptop, I would not touch it and/or do anything that could void your warranty! Take it back to where you bought it or contact your nearest Service & Support | Acer Official Site in your area and tell them of this problem, as this should not be happening to a brand new laptop! Be aware, that anything more that you do could void your warranty.
