When using google chrome to play educational games you cannot click on a picture and drag it to a box to answer a question. Help!

Usually click&hold then drag. Is it just one game or all games? What are you used to doing? Jack E/NJ

It is an educational website called pathblazer. Students are instructed to find the picture that finishes the story. But the tablet does not allow you to click on the picture and drag it to the answer box. Also on the website Starfall students are asked to do the same kind of things but they cannot.

Are there any other educational websites or apps in which 'drag & drop' operations seem to work correctly? Jack E/NJ

OK. Are the students trying to drag & drop from the touchscreen, the touchpad or a mouse? Jack E/NJ

And if with the touchpad, are they using one finger to press the button area and the other to move things around?

Better give us the full tablet model number. Some tablet models have detachable keyboards with touchpads, USB and BT mouse connectivity. Are they only using the touchscreen? Jack E/NJ  PS: Also check this tutorial https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2766492?hl=en

There is some question as to whether or not pathblazer app and a few other edsurge educational apps are fully compatible with the new chrometablets vs the older full keyboard & touchpad chromebooks. These apps are specifically not compatible with a few other tablets like iPad & Android. I suggest that you send an email feedback@edsurge.com and specifically ask if the ACER D651n-K9WT chromtablet is fully compatible via its touchscreen-only interface. Jack E/NJ

I will do that. But both of the programs are web based programs not apps.

Yes, I understand. But the edsurge  literature states certain system interface requirements must be met in order to properly interact with pathblazer. Some tablets, smartphones and other scaled down smart devices are not fully compatible. I think they're more knowledgeable on what system requirements than anyone here on the ACER site. I was surprised to learn that even an Apple iPad tablet is not compatible with hybridge  and pathblazer.  Jack E/NJ
