I am having the Acer Nitro 5 (core i5 9th gen and gtx 1650 model) AN515-54. Since day 1 when I purchased my laptop, I am noticing the thin black stripe on the left side of my laptop panel. The strip is of size 0.5 to 1mm and due to this, the content is not utilizing the narrow bezel of the display. Is this the problem all are facing or it's normal? If its a problem then kindly tell me some solution. I have tried all the scaling and display settings in my windows 10 and every setting is fine and it is set to 'maintain aspect ratio'. But the problem is still there. please help!

The first image is of the right side of the laptop panel and there you can see no issue. But the thin black stripe can be seen on the left side of the panel. This is ruining my experience and kindly tell me the solution.

Try to boot with a live linux disto and if the issue is still there, then I assume you got a bad panel.

Donwload Ubuntu for example it has an option to boot only without install, make a bootable flash drive and boot to see if the strip is there. This will not solve the issue but ot will tell us if it is a sw or hw issue.

It ie not a solution it is a test to check if the problem is software or hardware. Download an iso image and make a bootable flash drive with rufus. Select GPT  and UEFI-non CSM. After that boot from the drive and let me know if you still have a stip on the screen.

Is there any other method to test? As it is a very risky process because any mistake can damage my laptop and any markets are also not opened due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Well, then the only option is to ask Acer support to replace the screen, do have warranty?

Are the Acer Support opened and operational in this lockdown period? Yes, my laptop is under warranty. Will they replace my screen free of cost or will they charge?

You have a warranty so they should troubleshoot and replace the faulty parts. I don`t know if they are open I am not an Acer employee, you better give them a call and ask.
