My laptop Acer Spin 3 (SP314-53N-79X4) doesn't see webcam.

In the device manager, the camera appears as an unknown device. Trying to update the driver didn’t help.
In the privacy setting, access to the camera is allowed

Device manager shows the camera as USB\VID_0408&PID_A060&MI_00\6&391C16C1&0&0000

Please tell me how to install the driver

I apologize, difficulties translating Russian Windows

I deleted the driver at your advice and now the system does not find it. There are no cameras in hidden devices either.

    what to do?

@ValeriyLFollow the guidelines below to manually add the webcam.
    • First, users will need to open Run with the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut.
    • Input ‘devmgmt.msc’ within Run’s Open text box and click OK to open Device Manager.

    • Then click View > Show hidden devices.
    • Click Action and select Add legacy hardware to open the window shown directly below.

    • Press the Next button.

-Select the Install hardware that I manually select from a list option, and click the Next button.

    • Select Imaging devices and click Next.
    • Thereafter, select the webcam that’s missing from Device Manager; and press the Next button.

Restart Windows after adding the webcam. And check open camera

In Device Manager, on the Action  menu, select  Scan for hardware changes. Wait for it to scan and reinstall updated drivers, restart your computer, and then try opening the Camera app again.

I did everything as you recommended

    does not work

I think that until the system sees the correct camera driver, nothing will work

It is possible your problem is hardware not software. If the wiring between the camera and the motherboard has come loose or broken the system will no longer see a camera. In that case either plugging it back in or replacing the wiring is required. Are you still in warranty? If so contact Acer support and they will get you fixed.

I think so too, the laptop is under warranty, but because of the coronavirus no one works

    thanks everyone

The Acer support staff are still working, but from home. That means access is much slower than normal. So persevere and you eventually get through.
