I got my laptop mid last month and it has been running pretty well, a few issues here and there but they haven’t been completely overbearing. Yesterday, I left my laptop on while I went to do something and I came back with it completely shut down. I had it plugged in the whole time so I know it didn’t die. I was unable to turn it on using the power button so I ended up doing the battery reset and that seemed to work perfect. Now, today, I’m having the same issue. I had shut my laptop and left it for a while, only to come back with it refusing to turn on once more. This time the battery light was on but no matter how many times I pressed the power button it just wouldn’t turn on. I unplugged my laptop and tried doing an internal battery reset several times at different lengths of holding the button, but nothing worked. When I press the power button it blinks for a second but then goes away. I’m scared of taking out the battery because I don’t have a removable one.

What can I do?

The best thing for you to do and with any new Acer laptop under warranty is to, take it to an Acer service center, its under warranty and I wouldn't open it or do anything to it. There are lots of things and options to suggest but, you have to open the back and I wouldn't recommend that you touch this laptop, let Acer fix it and tell them exactly what you have written above to them!
