Hi there
still quite happy with my Acer Spin 5 sp513 52N. Only one things drives me nuts from time to time.
Laptop crashes and pushing 5 seconds the power button is the only possibility to restart it.
The scenario is as following:
- It only happens, when laptop is NOT in use (idle or sent to sleep)
- Happens when I'm not using the laptop for some time (60 minutes or longer)
- No BSOD
- screen is just black
- laptop is on power
- left side of the laptop is warmer as when it's switched on
- no matter which energy settings I'm running (high performance down to energy saving)
- event-id just displays ID 41 (generic kernel power issue), but nothing more specific, no dumb created
It never happend, when I'm working with the laptop. Seems related to a combination of standby in combination of charging the laptop.
However, energy settings are set as following:
- no energy saving on power and battery
- sleep after 120 minutes on battery and 240 minutes on power
Any ideas how to solve it?
Cheers
