Acer Switch 5 - Most reliable way to connect an external monitor

Hello All!

I have an Acer Switch 5 (Model N17P5) and have been scouring the forums to see what a reliable method is for connecting an external monitor. I have found recommendations for the Alpha 12, as well as folks saying they are having issues with their usb c to hdmi adapters for their switch 5, but nothing specifically saying what cable they are using.

Can someone with the Switch 5 who is currently using a dependable external monitor solution let me know what that is? I don't mind spending money on a quality adapter, but would rather not spend the cost of a monitor on the official Acer docking station

It's best to use an external monitor with displayport input with this USBC-to-displayport adapter. Jack E/NJ

I'm using a Dell monitor and just bought a generic USB-C to HDMI adapter. I must say I haven't had any trouble at all, apart from a very slightly wobbly fit now and again.
